Mission Statement
The mission of the Antares Foundation is to strengthen the quality of humanitarian assistance and overseas development through advice, training, support and research.

Clients
The Antares Foundation offers support to aid agencies working in continually changing and complex contexts in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. The effectiveness of managers and staff is enhanced by education and training and the integration of psychosocial tools and approaches to increase staff resilience and mitigate the impact of organizational and humanitarian related stress and trauma.

Integrated Systemic Support
The Antares Foundation offers integrated psychosocial and management support at both agency and project level such as assessment of staff support policies and practices; analysis and design of staff support programs; coaching; consulting; facilitation; evaluation and training.

Briefing, Debriefing and Counselling Support
The Antares Foundation supports agencies sending staff to the field by offering psychosocial briefings prior to deployment; training and post-deployment psychological debriefings and counselling.

Field support
The Antares Foundation undertakes field consultancies to assist managers in the psychosocial support of staff teams recovering from intensive or critical situations and in the evaluation and design of effective staff care programs.

Worldwide
The Antares Foundation works with an international network of specialists and offers its services across the world.

Partnerships
Through partnership with a range of international organizations involved in disaster support work, human resource management and psychosocial projects, the Antares Foundation aims to effect greater sustainability and quality of staff capacity in a relevant and integrated way.

Research and publications
The Antares Foundation collaborates with academic institutions in research projects and in developing psychosocial systems and professional management tools.

Lobby
To raise awareness of the importance of its work the Antares Foundation lobbies in the humanitarian world through funding institutions, donors and sponsors.
